Vegan Pumpkin Spice Spiderweb Smoothie Bowl
Ingredients
- 1 banana sliced and frozen
- 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
- 2 tablespoons old fashioned rolled oats
- 1 tablespoon almond butter
- 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup or date syrup
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 1/4 cup unsweetened vegan yogurt
- 1 tablespoon pepitas
- 1 teaspoon hulled hempseeds
Instructions
- In a high-speed blender or food processor, combine the frozen banana, pumpkin puree, oats, almond butter, maple syrup, and pumpkin pie spice. Blend on high for 1 – 2 minutes, pausing to scrape down the sides of the canister with a spatula if needed, until smooth and creamy.
- Transfer the mixture to a bowl and smooth out the top. To make the spiderweb, drizzle the yogurt in a spiral pattern. It may help to transfer the yogurt to a zip top bag and snip off the tip to pipe out a finer line.
- Using a toothpick or skewer, draw lines out from the center to create the spiderweb effect. Wipe off the utensil after drawing each line to keep them from smudging.
- Top with the pepitas and hempseeds. Enjoy!

This looks really good, but 35g of sugar is a lot! I don’t see where that amount of sugar is coming from based on the ingredients. Thank you.
All of the ingredients and the sugars are not added sugars, but from the whole natural plants. Natural sugars are okay.
