And if you are a plant-based cook or you know someone who is, this is definitely the perfect time of year to score some good deals. Everyone always asks me what my favorite products are, so I decided to put together all my favorite picks for great gifts (for any budget) for plant-based cooks.

Here are my favorite products you can add to your own Christmas list, tell your loved ones to buy you, or buy that special person in your family who loves to cook.

Vitamix Blender

A really great high-powered blender like a Vitamix is highly recommended. Sorry, but the Ninjas just aren’t anywhere close to as good as a Vitamix. Nothing blends as well and gets nut-based sauces smoother and creamier like a Vitamix. And ANY model is going to be great. You don’t have to get the most expensive ones.

Food Processor

A food processor can really save you time and make things really easy to make like hummus, nice cream, energy date balls, and so much more! I have 2 recommendations for a food processor. If you don’t have a lot to spend I recommend starting with THIS basic Hamilton Beach. It gets the job done, is easy to clean, and only costs around $55. This is what I started off with and used for YEARS!

If you’re looking for an upgrade in the food processing department with lots of extra blades & features, I recommend the Breville Sous Chef. I have THIS one and absolutely love it! It’s got all you’ll ever need, a digital timer, and is easy to clean. Also, comes with a great storage container to keep all the different blades in.

Vegetable Chopper

I have this GoodCook vegetable chopper that I bought from Kroger several years ago. It’s pretty basic, only dicing 1 size, but it’s super easy to use, sturdy, and very easy to clean. I use this vegetable chopper to save time dicing onions, apples, zucchini, and more!

12 Slice Apple Corer

I also love this 12 slice apple corer to make thinner slices of apples. This is great to then place the thinner slices on the vegetable chopper above to make small diced apples. I also use this to make my apple pie with. I slice them with this apple corer, then slice then in half again to make them really thin.

Instant Pot Duo

The Instant Pot makes cooking so many things fast & easy. You can cook dried beans, rice, make soups, cook potatoes, and even make your own plant-based yogurt. There are different capacaties like 3 quart, 6 quart, 8 quart. So get the largest size you think you’ll need so you can make big batches. I have this Instant Pot Duo 8 quart and is perfect for my family of 4.

Silicone Storage Bags & Drying Rack

Silicone storage bags are an excellent replacement for single-use plastics that harm our environment and animals. They will also save you money no you aren’t buying baggies all the time. I have this Ideatech set that has gallon, quart, and snack sizes. (Actually I bought 3 of these sets so I would have enough for my family and sending with my kids to school for their lunches).

I also recommend that you hand wash your baggies and let them dry upside down on this Ideatech drying rack. (I bought 2 of them so I could wash & dry a large batch at a time). They say they are dishwasher safe, but I don’t know how that’s possible, since when I tried they went flying all around and didn’t stay open to wash the inside. And they came out a little crinkly from the heat. So you do want to hand wash and make sure they dry completely before putting them away so they don’t get mildew.

Silicone Mats, Bakeware, Pans & Sets

Silicone is also a MUST for oil-free baking and I have many silicone baking mats and molds of all different sizes.

I’ve gotten many different silicone baking mats and the most important thing is to make sure they can withstand up to the highest heat you plan on cooking with.

I like this Cookstyle silicone bakeware molds set because they have a metal frame on the inside that makes it easier to hold and take in and out of the oven. It comes with muffin molds, baking pans, and bread loaf as well as extra spatulas.

I also got this non-stick baking sheets & pans set that also has reinforced metal for strength and sturdiness.

Silicone Microwave Air Popper

Popcorn can be a great whole grain snack on a whole food plant-based diet, but not with all the added salt, butter, or oil. You’ll want to get a silicone microwave air popper and cook your own corn kernels! I have this Korcci Microwave Popcorn Popper and it works perfectly! Season your popcorn with nutritional yeast, garlic powder, or other seasonings. You can spritz your popcorn with a little low sodium soy sauce or lime juice for a little tang. It will also help the seasonings stick. I have this mister bottle to spritz my popcorn with.

GreenPan Valencia Pro Ceramic Coated Non-Toxic Cookware

For easy non-stick oil-free cooking you’ll want to find some good quality cookware. Ceramic-coated cookware is non-toxic, but not all of them last long. The cheaper ceramic pans break down faster and you might have to replace there every year. You’ll want to buy the best you can afford and maybe just start with a few important pieces you’ll use everyday like a large saute pan & a large pot.

I have the GreenPan Valencia Pro Hard Anodized 11 Piece set and love it! It’s very high quality and will last many years if you take care of it. You do want to use silicone baking utensils & not metal as to not scratch the pans.

ScanPan Classic 11″ Griddle

If you like making pancakes, a non-stick griddle is a must! ScanPan is another excellent brand of safe non-toxic, non-stick cookware. I have this ScanPlan Classic 11″ Griddle for making pancakes on the weekends and it works great without oil!

Silicone Cooking Utensils

As mentioned above, when using ceramic-coated cookware, you’ll want utensil that won’t scratch the surface. Silicone is a great option and I recently replaced all my plastic utensils with this Silicone Cooking Utensils Set.

Zwilling Santoku 7″ Knife

I love my Zwilling Rocking Santoku 7″ Knife. it’s super-duper sharp and easy to handle making it safe & faster to chop your veggies & herbs.

I’m also looking to upgrade my entire knife block and will probably get one of the Zwilling sets. There are so many to choose from!

Ninja Max Air Fryer

Another great appliance to have for crispy, fast, oil-free cooking is a good air fryer. This is great for crispy tofu, fast oil-free tortilla chips, making french fries, and even air frying vegetables.

I have this Ninja Max XL Air Fryer and love it! It cooks fast & has a digital timer & temp.

Ninja CREAMi 7-in-1 Ice Cream Maker

If you like ice cream, you’ll want to get a Ninja CREAMi so that you can have pints of whole food plant-based ice cream ready to go and creamy in minutes. Nice cream is great, but if you don’t want to banana-based vegan ice cream, then the Ninja CREAMi can help you make healthy plant-based ice cream with other ingredients like plant-based milks, fresh fruit, cocoa powder, peanut butter, and you can even do mix-ins like nuts & chocolate chips. I like to make a simple “Dole Whip” with just one ingredient – a can of pineapple chunks. It turns into a wonderful creamy sorbet!

Tofuture Tofu Press

If you’re new to cooking with tofu, you’ll want to get a tofu press that will make it easier to squeeze out the water. Tofu is flavorless so the more water you squeeze out the more flavor & marinade the tofu with absorb! I have 2 of these Tofuture Tofu Presses and they are so easy to use!

Souper Cubes

For batch cooking soups & stews, Souper Cubes are perfect for making it a breeze. The silicone material is non-toxic, durable, and makes removing your frozen soup easy because they are non-stick.

Lazy Susan Spice Rack

If you need to organize your spices and save space, but still be able to find what you need quickly, then get a Lazy Susan Spice Rack! I have 4 of these spice racks in my cabinets and it helps me stay organized with my spices.

Taco Holders & Tortilla Warmer

We love Taco Tuesdays at our house, but if you’re doing oil-free, soft tacos can be a pain the fill. But not with taco holders! These metal taco holders are perfect for corn or wheat tortillas and are dishwasher safe for easy clean up. Plus, you’ll want to warm your tortillas so they are more pliable and this adorable tortilla warmer can heat them in seconds in the microwave without drying them out.

Widemouth Mason Jars & Storage Lids

For meal prep, I like to use widemouth mason jars for my overnight oats, salads/grain bowls, and fruit & veggies storage. I have the 16 ounce & 32 ounces Ball Widemouth Mason Jars.

I’ve had issues with the metal storage lids rusting pretty often, so I use widemouth plastic lids which you can get in white or different colors.

And for filling your jars quickly without making a mess, you can get a widemouth funnel.

Pyrex Mixing Bowls

For baking & mixing, I have multiple sizes of mixing bowls. I have both this 3 piece Pyrex Mixing Bowl set and also 2 of these larger 4-quart Pyrex mixing bowl.

Glass Nesting Mixing Bowls

I also like these glass nesting bowls for mixing small amounts of ingredients or spice together or for prepping vegetables. These are great for saving space!
