Crispy BBQ Roasted Chickpeas (oil-free)

These oil-free crispy chickpeas are the perfect snack when you are craving something crunchy!

Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups canned chickpeas, rinsed & drained low sodium
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt optional

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with a silicone baking mat or parchment paper.
  • Rinse & drain chickpeas. Pat dry.
  • Combine spices in a medium bowl & mix well. Add the chickpeas and toss until well coated.
  • Spread chickpeas out onto the baking sheet & bake for 30-35 minutes, tossing about every 10 minutes, until crispy.
  • Remove from oven & let cool.

Notes

Let cool completely before storing in an airtight storage bag or container in your pantry.  Will keep for at least a week or longer.
Use any spices you want!
